Sorry everyone for not getting a new blog out. But I have been super busy with work and my own racing schedule. But with that said... Only 4 more days until Round #3! The drivers stand will be completed and we will have some fantastic racing Saturday July 12th! I can not wait! This is a new facility located with in fairground. From the word I am hearing, there will be food available as well as 4 or 5 bathrooms!
We will be setting up a remote monitor for everyone to view the current race. So please do not encroach on the announcer. Also I have been following this RC Scoring Analyzer that is available for Android phones and tablets. I will be talking with John Stewart about possibly loading the .bat files so we can transmit out the race results via WiFi to all the racers.
Also being we are in the fairgrounds. I want everyone to obey all traffic signals to and from and with in the park. We do not want to have any issues this weekend. And I don't think we will!
Another thing or two I want to bring up is RIP (Radio Impound Podcast). Recently I have been listening to their show and I really like it! If you love RC racing and want to hear interviews or what manufacturers are saying then log on to the show and download their podcasts! The link is provided below so you wont have to go Googling it yourself.
Also in a few months the East Coast Race Against Cancer will be held at McCullough's Offroad Raceway in Sarver, PA. Over the last 12 years $88,000+ has been raised for the American Cancer Society! With $19,000+ coming in just from last years event alone! This is a fantastic event with lots of action! Please do not miss it and get signed up early!
Well that is all from me now. I want to thank WFO Raceway, McCullough's Offroad Raceway, RCX213 Raceway, POWrCR and last but not least.... Everyone that is running the series! This series wouldn't be happening with out all of you!!!
