Well it has been a while since I have had time to do much with this site. I am truly sorry for that! But we are moving now!
The first round of the series will be taking place at WFO Raceway in Maidsville, WV on May 4th. This track uses an IR timing system. But don't let that keep you from racing the series! We all would like to see this track transform into something really awesome! So for those that prefer to not race there because of the IR system. I would like to say that it takes racers to bring in a profit so the track can upgrade! Let's help out our good friend Brian Hose (owner of WFO) on making his dreams come true! And also to keep another racing facility open for everyone!
If you do not have a personal IR transponder. Don't worry as we have a great group of racers who are willing to loan out their spares! And if you would like to purchase one. Brian Hose and others have been putting group orders together to bring the cost per transponder down to $25 each.
Also I am working on the points layout. There are a couple different options. Some of the options are as follows:
1) 6 races with two drops. With the requirement to run at least one event at WFO.
2) 6 races with one drop. This is a little bit tougher for everyone since they will need to race in the series once a month for five months.
3) 6 races with two drops. Each racer will get 5 bonus points for attending at least one race at WFO.
And there are also some other ideas floating around in my head.
And for those of you that want to get some practice time on the awesome track at WFO. They will be having their annual The Mountaineer Trophy Race this weekend on the 27th. Track opens at 9am.
I also have the schedule completed. Just waiting on the confirmation of the third track.
If everyone could I am going to make either a survey or an RSVP page on this site. I would like all racers to complete the form and get them sent in. This will really help out!
Thank you,
Chad Roland
